Change with Ease - Adult Diaper Changing - open-source assistive technology working model by the 2021 TOM Global Innovation Challenge (GIC) community

About this project

This solution would make diaper changing a relatively fuss-free task.

The purpose is to develop a light, portable and user-friendly device to hold

the diaper in place on the person involved. The caregiver can

then free up both hands to position the diaper & release the

adhesive to tape the diaper in place.

An adjustable waist bucket belt is secured onto the disabled person

with two clips attached on the front and back. These clips are used to

hold the diapers in place while the caretaker do the necessary

adjustments.

Our Need-Knower is a care-tkaer, who have experienced difficulty in helping an adult

relative changing adult diapers.

Change with Ease - Adult Diaper Changing is one of the participating projects of the 2021 Global Innovation Challenge.
