DJ console - open-source assistive technology prototype by the 2021 TOM Global Innovation Challenge (GIC) community

About this project

An accessible console that allows people with disabilities to

be DJs.

It is combined with a Single controller, The bottom has two large push buttons, in the middle step, there are slider and joystick buttons and at the top tier has four small push buttons. On the right side of the console, there is a switch off button and on the other side a USB connection.

Who it helps

Rotem has a CP, Muscular Dystrophy and

vision loss, he very likes to play music like a Dj.

This project is aimed for Rotem and other people with fine motor challenges who move around in a wheelchair on a daily basis, where they have no option to hold the buttons.
