Door Grabber

Door Grabber - open-source assistive technology product by the TOM Israel community community

About this project

Our device is a lightweight handle grabber designed to be

kept in your pocket or hang freely from your keys. It can be

used to open doors, grab onto various objects, or even push

buttons.

The challenge

Because COVID-19 is so highly contagious, some people

may wish to avoid touching high-traffic surfaces and

spreading germs. We aimed to design a device to help

people live their daily lives without coming into contact with

various surfaces.

Who it helps

This is a 3D printed tool to help open doors and push buttons without direct contact.

How it works

This product is accessible to the public thanks to TOM's partnership with Poalim for the Community.
