TOM presents us as a challenge the design and adaptation of devices that facilitate his school process, as well as some clothing and footwear activities. The acquisition of fine motor skills has been a particular challenge in his school life. This has been manifested mainly in writing: the difficulty to handle a pencil.
Juan Martin is 12 years old, he is and independent and a student at The Columbus School. Juan Martin was born at 32 weeks, he was born prematurely and diagnosed with hypotonia and delayed motor development. At 8 months he was taken to child neurology, where he got a resonance and they found cerebellar alterations and diagnosed him with dyspraxia.
