Hands Free Shoehorn

Hands Free Shoehorn - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Sabancı University community

The challenge

This project is made for those who have difficulty in wearing shoes due to any disability.

Who it helps

Our product is designed for people who has a disability about their hands or arms and struggle to use a normal shoehorn.

How it works

The solution is offered by a lever-like tool that helps its users who either has no hands or whose hands are occupied, by making its users able to adjust the shoehorn attached to the tool while sitting with their legs.

Hands-Free Shoehorn offers its users a practical, easy and efficient way to wear shoes, without using any hands.

Tools needed
