This project addresses the lack of affordable and accessible drumming solutions for individuals with upper limb amputation. Existing devices are often expensive, not available, or do not adequately replicate the sound and experience of manual drumming.
Individuals with upper limb amputation who use a hook prosthesis - both active drummers and individuals who aspire to play but may believe their limb difference prevents them from doing so.
By stabilizing the drumstick on a hook prosthesis and enabling adjustable rebound to improve sound quality and playing control.
