Many children with autism and sensory processing difficulties require additional tactile and deep pressure (proprioceptive) input to meet their sensory needs in order to effectively engage in daily living tasks including academics, self-care, and play.
Kaylee is an 8-year-old active girl who has been diagnosed with Autism and sensory processing difficulties.
The Sensory Arm Roller provides Kaylee with an opportunity to independently apply the amount of deep pressure input to meet her sensory system needs and promote self-regulation by simply rolling her arms and hands through the device.
The Sensory Arm Roller is comprised of a wooden frame with foam rollers that are secured with bungee cords that have been graded for proper tension. The device provides controlled sensory pressure / compression input to the user's arms and hands.
