Team James

About this project

The InstaSleep is a rollable addition to a couch that makes it a pull-out couch. The

device provides extra space and support for couch sleepers with osteoarthritis. It

includes a half-moon shaped pillow that can be velcroed to the rollable mattress

for stability at night.

The challenge

The need for a CPAP device combined with a lack of quality rest in a

comfortable position exacerbates his lower body discomfort, as

osteo-arthritis radiates from the lumbar spine region down to

the lower extremities. James is looking for a solution that will

help him get a better night's sleep and a better quality of life
