In order to help her become more independent during the school day, the team created a track and bag system. With the implementation of this system, she can reach her books by herself during class and then store them back away after. On the day of the event, they worked on fitting the track to her wheelchair and making a bag that would fit her needs, including a magnet closure so she could easily open her bag. The track was made out of a copper pipe that they bent to curve around her chair. The team then had her come in one more time after school so they could attach the whole system to her chair. To attach the pipe to her chair, they retro-fitted plumbing attachments to screw on her chair. For the front, they used velcro and more plumbing attachments so it would stay on her chair and still be be flexible enough that she can remove the system if she wants to.
