U-Piller

U-Piller - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Georgia Tech community

The challenge

Due to her involuntary mouth movement, she struggles to take medication orally.

Who it helps

People with involuntary oral movement struggling with daily medicine in-take.

How it works

We are addressing the issue of the involuntary bites with a buffer to preserve the pet-piller syringe.

Our solution is the use of a pet-piller with a wider nozzle for bigger pills, combined with a mouthpiece with a hole for the pet-piller to fit through, preventing the bites from cracking the pet-piller.
