Washing machine dials are hard to grip and turn even with bare hands, let alone with a weaker external aid. This device greatly eases a challenge that most of us don't even think about.
Jocelyn uses a wheelchair and has trouble turning the dial on her washing machine. She uses a basic grabbing stick for other things, but the dial of her washing machine is too hard for it to grab and turn.
My solution both allows the user to more easily reach the dial through the length of the handle and makes the strength the user inputs more effective.
My solution is a socket on the end of a handle. The socket fits over the dial of a washing machine and can be easily turned with the help of the handle.
