Adaptive Golf Glove

Adaptive Golf Glove - open-source assistive technology prototype by the California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo community

The challenge

As many golfers age, their grip strength weakens and they develop joint pain.

By enhancing grip support and minimizing joint stress, this product can help golfers play comfortably and confidently with less pain and fatigue.

Who it helps

Any Golfer who experiences arthritis, joint pain, weakness of grip, multiple sclerosis, etc.

How it works

As many golfers age, their grip strength weakens and they develop joint pain. By enhancing grip support and minimizing joint stress, this product can help golfers play comfortably and confidently with less pain and fatigue.

A BOA dial on the back of the hand tightens built-in laces to create tension, reducing grip force needed. Compatible with all gloves, it supports golfers with arthritis, injuries, or weak grip, improving comfort and reducing join stress, pain, and fatigue.

A universal golf glove attachment converts rotational twist into linear tension, reducing grip strain. Ideal for golfers with arthritis or weak grip, it improves comfort and consistency. A design that accounts for difference in hand size and anatomy
