Limb Attachment with Interchangeable Implements

Limb Attachment with Interchangeable Implements - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Vanderbilt University community

The challenge

We want to give Mathias, a quadruple amputee, the ability to eat, use a stylus, write, and paint.

Who it helps

Mathias is a 15-year old student that recently had all 4 limbs amputated. He is trying to gain more independence and navigating his new life as an amputee.

How it works

This solution will allow Mathias to fulfill daily living tasks without hands or fingers

We are creating a modular, adjustable, 3D printable limb attachment with interchangeable implements
